Great price, up here about $ 14. a can flat black. Depending where you find it.
Sorry up Here we use Tremclad with is now owned by Rust-Oleum.
They sell both around here . I find the Tremclad a little stronger hold , but both ok.
High heat for BBQ is around $20.00
But price has jumped last few years up here.

Do you find the Krylon any better or just lasts better in the can, and is that not a Rust-Oleim product ?

David
After countless partially full Rustoleum cans I when with Krylon. I also have cleaned and soaked the nozzles, turned cans upside down and cleared. Still not spraying. It was about my time and product frustration. A quick repair was not because the semi matching rattle can quit.
Krylon seems to work better. Can shelf life is better. Have yet to throw out a half full one.

Sorry I swore Off Rustolem when I had many cans more than half full not spraying. It's okay if you use it all at once.
There was a time when the cans didn't even spray right off the shelf . I'll say it was 4 or 5 years ago . I had 2 that I tossed and bought Krylon , and just wrote it off .
Brother in law had the same deal , but he called Rust-Oleum . They admitted to a defective can , refunded his money and also replaced the paint .
Less stress for me to buy Krylon , but there was an issue with non spraying cans from Rust-Oleum .

From my point of view as a painting contractor a rattle can is a rattle can is a rattle can.I simply just don't use them with the exception of some clear finishes.

Investing in an airbrush kit is worth its weight in gold especially when it comes to doing touch-ups.You save money on paint by buying quarts and storage of what's unused won't have the same issues as rattle cans.Using an airbrush gives you control over the consistency of the paint through thinning and you have control over the spray pattern and volume coming out of the gun.

If you do a lot of touch-ups or small jobs where you'd use a rattle can you might consider the investment in an airbrush kit,it's worth it trust me.
