Well in Michigan, spring has come and gone after only 4 days!

But we will deal with it like usual.
I have managed to rub up a couple packers for tomorrows smoke. They have 2 different rubs, with no in jections this week.
And since I was gonna do a couple briskets, I figured , what the hell lets load it up a bit, so i have 4 pork butts to go on with the briskets in the morning.

Both briskets are rubbed differently, anfd the butts are a continuation of the experiment about fat cap up or down, and score it or not score!
By scoring I am talkin bout cross cutting the fat cap.

so tommorrows pics will be alot like this one, cept i am doing 2 packer briskets with 4 pork butts! I'll post the progress as the day goes on!

If i can ge tmy butt up, I am planning on getting this circus going by 6 am, that means a fire in the tak by 5:15 am, which is 4 hrs away. I will post it in a different forum, probably pork since there are 4 butts!
