So, at my neighbors request tonight I am hosting a porkapalooza. People have taken a liking to my pulled pork. I will post pics in the thread of last months smoke (two shoulders from Costco).
I also will post a little change that I made to one of the shoulders on this current smoke.
I love the BBQ sauce I make (similar to Jeff’s with molasses...)
So this week, I did one shoulder in the traditional mustard+rub.
The second shoulder I rubbed with molasses instead of mustard + rub. Interested to see the flavor profile difference side by side. Will post a follow up when it’s all done here in a few hours.
