Hey all,
Going to rotisserie a 4lb pork loin tomorrow for an evening dinner.
Haven't done this before so any info would be appreciated.
I have a new Webber 22" charcoal grill with a rotisserie add on.

That's gonna be good. I spin over a wood fire. So I can't help with charcoal.

Sorry

Sounds tasty! I spin chickens on my 22" Weber with indirect charcoal. I want to do a loin, looking forward to your cook!

Thanks for the feedback folks.
I am going to use the grill set up for indirect heat with charcoal.
Will throw a couple chunks of wood in to get a little smoke on.
Will post with pics

I use charcoal baskets with my rotisserie I haven’t done a loin but Tri tip with to fully burning baskets is under an hour for med rare med so it’s a starting point. How much charcoal are you going to use? I would just go one fully lite basket and try to check the temp after 15 to get an idea how it’s going. Maverick makes a therm for rotisserie use if your interested.

One chimney depending on size over fills my baskets. If you don’t have baskets I think there very handy. This is my normal rotisserie setup lid on,if going low and slow I use about 7-10 light briquettes and the rest unlit just like the minion method.

I use one chimney for indirect with a chicken. The coals last for more then an hour, long enough to cook a 4lb chicken to 175.

I'm using the same set up with the baskets.
I used my smaller chiminy which works out just right.

I will post a pic when I set up for dinner.
Thanks for all the replies!

Here are the facts:

4 lb Pork Loin on sale at our local market.
Rubbed with EVO, Rosemary and Thyme.
Wrapped and into the fridge overnight.
Set up the Weber 22" charcoal grill with the rotisserie module on and placed the charcoal for indirect heat.
Pork Loin on the rotisserie at 3:30 with the chamber temp at around 300 degrees.
Off the rotisserie at 4:30 with IT at 145 degrees.
Results were good.
Moist an tasty, everyone enjoyed!
