Rope gasket for ECB mod

Started my mods and was wondering Which is more preferable/recommended? Any fibreglass concerns?

I think I ordered mine from Amazon . The glue that came with it I felt was old and didn't hold. I contacted then and they sent a new kit. Instead of using the glue that came with it I used 3-M spray adhesive. That was over 4 years ago and still holding great.
