just purchased my first smoker this week. 4 meals in, and I’m loving it but still have a lot to learn

Hey from the NW Burbs! What kind of smoker did you go with?

Cuisinart propane smoker. I went with a budget model to start but after using it for 10 straight days, I’m already planning on an upgrade for next year. Nothing wrong with the Cuisinart (other than that the wood chip tray is too small) but I’m in a windy area and I’m having trouble keeping a constant temperature.

Nice man! You should consider a UDS build. There's a ton of info on here...I made one last year and wow, is it fun to use.
