My name's Steve and live in Ks. My family and I own a little brewpub in a town of 1800 people. We have little to no food to speak of yet, but are in the mist of adding a BBQ restaurant on to our business. I only been smoking a year or so and just recently upgraded to our new smoker. A Cookshack FEC 300. I have no restaurant experience to speak of so we are kinda learning as we go. I am the full time brewer and didnt ever brew a beer before we opened our doors 8 years ago, So I learned a lot through that experience as well. Brewing beer and making BBQ seem to be pretty alike through what i've learned so far. Start with quality ingredients and its all about time and temp and a little of this or that. So all in all i just wanted to say hello and im ready to start soaking up some knowledge from this forum.

Welcome,

Beer and BBQ what a great combination. I found BBQ a lot less intimidating then brewing beer. Post of some pictures of your smoked food, we love pictures.
