Howdy folks! Kurt here, they call me UKD. Just joined from SE Idaho, and I can't get enough of smoking eats. I have a MasterForge green verticle charcoal smoker el cheapo, bought about a year ago, but I love using it and am getting better at controlling conditions needed for what I am smoking. I have apple trees in my yard so most of the time that is the wood I use. I also recently butchered my crabapple tree and I have a ton of the twigs aging in a barrel that I have tried on some ribs much to my taste buds delight. Glad to be here, and look forward to soaking up the wealth of knowledge within the forum.
