Ill be smoking two racks of baby backs on saturday using the same rub i did last time. love the rub.
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup paprika
4T coarse salt
3T coarse pepper
2t onion powder
2t garlic powder
2t celery seed
1t cayenne pepper
i like to add more cayenne for a kick but its up to you

ill post some pictures up in the morning. ill be using a brinkman trailmaster vertical smoker. with a couple mods such as a green egg high temp gasket and high temp silicon to keep the smoke a little better.

Wood ill use is apple wood

still trying to decide on what BBQ sauce to make

Sounds like a plan. You may want to try Jeff's sauce. It's a great sauce & can be tweaked to your own taste.

Good plan. Yes, Jeff's sauce is amazing on ribs. I put it on mine at the last 30 and 15 minutes. Pics would be nice. Good luck.
