I dont know how I missed this thread Bear.

Thats one great looking meal.

I need to get my gas grill back out, havent been used for a year and a half.
Thanks Adam!!

Bear
Ribeye is the wife's favorite. Did you ever try smoking them?

Steve
I love smoked Ribeye, but it's such a hassle smoking one & not the other, because Mrs Bear likes her's without smoke.

Mine is the q100 and it has an oval shaped burner. I agree that as small as the grill is, they still could have made 2 burners so you don't have to heat the whole thing to make one steak. Either way, still beats cranking up all three burners on my genesis.
Yeah, Mine is the big one, and it has two burners, but the configuration makes it that you have to light them both to do anything---Even one Steak.

Bear
Looks great Bear, as is everything else you post! I am still trying to master the art of grilling steaks.
Thank You Very Much!!

Keep at it---you'll get there!!

PM me any time you need help.

Man after my own heart!  Can't beat rib-eyes on the grill!

Gonna make some rib-eyes tomorrow for my wife & I.  First cook of the year!

But come now.... canned green beans?  Really?

Man Up Bear!

Sauté fresh, or frozen, green beans with a little olive oil or butter, with garlic and diced onion.

What the heck you're at the grill anyway, right?  LOL

Just teasing Bear.  Ifin I was there, I'd eat it all!

When I grow up and get rich and famous....... I am going to build a house next to Bear's just so I can smell his smokes!

EDIT I was so excited about thinking about Bears smoking, Well, I had to correct the wrong word.

Thanks Frank!!!

LOL---I heard that before.

Mrs Bear doesn't like anything other than Bacon & Ham type things smoked, so I let her handle the veggies, and as long as I get my favorite Meats & Taters, I don't care what veggies ride along. As for the Green Beans, when our Son was about 5 years old, he was eating cold canned Green Beans right out of the can, when other kids were eating candy.

Yep, just kidding you a bit Bear.

I grew up on canned green beans.  Mostly home canned, but store bought too.  And yes I ate them cold out of the can when a kid, and still do!

I can't open a can of green beans, or peas, without sampling a little before heating.

Heck, I didn't even know green beans could be sautéed, until I was in my 40's and started eating in resturants once in awhile. LOL

You can saute green beans, boil them, can them, roast them, grill them or eat them raw.   Anything, except steam them.  No matter how short or long. you steam them, you've got some serious chewing to do.  I don't know why that is.

P S  Didn't get my rib-eyes yesterday as I expected too.  Wife was gone all day.

I figure I made an improvement------After Vietnam, and for about the next 30 years, I lived on Meat, Potatoes, and Beer. No Veggies whatsoever, so any kind of veggies since that, I consider an improvement.

I hear you Bear! I have never been a "fruit" girl; and only in the past couple years started training myself to eat more of it. (On the other hand, DRINKING my grape, or "wine" rather, is another story and has never been that tricky).

Nonetheless, here's to fruits & veggies, and then of course also wonderful fish & meat!!! Smiles.

Your posts are fabulous!!

Cheers!!! - Leah
