Ribeye Kabobs (ZigZag Skewers)
Alright, I had to try out my new toys. “ZigZag Skewers”
I originally bought a set of these things for Bear Jr for about $16. (Set of 4)
Then I saw they were marked down to about $12, so Mrs Bear said to get us a set too.
So I sliced a Ribeye into strips about 5/4” wide, and then cut them into about the same size the other way.
Then I put them all in a Ziplock, and added some “Kelchner’s Pineapple Teriyaki” marinade.
After a few hours in the fridge, squishing them a couple times, it was time for Supper.
So I stuck those pieces on the little prongs, along with a bunch of Small Tomatoes.
I didn’t alternate, because I wanted to make sure I got all the meat on the skewers first.
Then I filled in with the Tomatoes, until all the prongs were occupied.
Then onto the Grill they went, brushing a little more of the Marinade on the meat during the first few flips.
When the surface of the Meat squares were to my liking, I removed & brought everything inside.
Then after pulling all the Meat & Maters off the skewers, I put it all on a plate.
Then We each plated the Meat we wanted, and added some Roasted Taters & some Grilled Maters too.
Everything Tasted Fantastic!! & Mrs Bear agreed!!
As for the ZigZag Skewers—They work Great, as long as nothing sticks fast to the Grill.
I didn't have that problem, but they could be hard to unstick from the Grill without pulling the pieces off the prongs.
They definitely worked Great for us, because We can get a whole meal like this, all on the set of 3 Skewers.
Then the next Morning I put some shredded Mozzarella on the leftover Taters & Nuked them for a minute.
Then Made a couple over easy Eggs & heated up the leftover Meat Cubes—&—Plated it All.
Thanks for stopping By Again,
Bear
