Ribeye (Grilled Indoors)

Lousy Weather means I gotta use my Indoor Smokeless Grill on this Nice Choice Ribeye.
I put a thawed Steak on a plate, and poured some Teriyaki Sauce on to marinade it, for a few hours.
I started by adding about a cup of water to the water tray in the bottom of the Grill unit.
This is what they say works with the downdraft fan to remove the Smoke.
I don’t know how it works, but I can vouch for the fact that it really does work, because when I use it, I get no smoke higher than a couple inches above the grill surface. Then it gets sucked down through the grill spaces & disappears.

So I turned the heat all the way up to 450° to pre-heat.
Then when the Blue Heat Lights all stopped blinking, I put the Steak on the Grill.
I flipped it over a few times, until I got it to where we like it (See pics of inside color).
Then I portioned our steak, so Mrs Bear got all Meat, without any Fat, and I got the bigger portion.
Mrs Bear made us some Baked Tater for the first night’s Supper.

Then the second night I sliced up some Baked Tater & pan fried it in butter (One of my Favorites).

That’s about it—Great Tasting Steak, and not a bit of Smoke in our Kitchen.

Thanks for dropping By,

Bear

Nice!

I have "smokeles" grill that I didn't pay much for.The old saying: "You get what you pay for" certainly applies here...I will be upgrading as soon as possible.

Heck yea Bear. Great looking grub. That indoor grill looks pretty slick! It may be time to change my name to 6Grillz!

Awhile!!!! try since November for me. 4.5 frick'en months - talk about having withdrawls.

Bear, great looking meal once again sir!! I have a question of relevance though. Is there land next to you available that I could buy, build my house, move in, and be your neighbor? I have 4 freezers full of meat I'll happily bring along that could be shared with you and Mrs. Bear if you'll just cook for me :emoji_laughing:

Prolly not but still a big LIKE,
Robert

That steak looks perfect. I didn't know about this smokeless grill thingy? For real. I might have to put that on my list........... You guys cost me more money, I swear!
Very nice Bear - looks delicious as always.

You have not even smashed into the tip of the iceberg yet. I bet I've spent the cost of a new high-end Mercedes on cooking toys since I found this forum. My thousand square foot patio is down to one tea table with two chairs because I have the whole thing covered with cookers. My pantry that's as big as the bedroom I had growing up is full of stuff to the point I'm having to sell/give things away to make room. Every cabinet in the kitchen and laundry room is full of cooking gadgets. It's a sickness that I am thoroughly enjoying. In addition to the smokeless fryer, you may want to look into an Emeril 360 air fryer also. Those things are fantastic!!

HI!! I'm Robert and I'm a gadget-a-holic,
Robert

Looks great! Done perfect! My favorite steak and that may be my first cook on the new MGF 560 this weekend.

When I still had a place to hunt, I would do the Pan Fried Taters just like that for breakfast. Everyone went nuts the first time I cooked them and it was a staple after that.

Looks like that little bugger does a pretty darn good job. Very nice looking steak.
My only question is how bad is the grease splatter, or do you grill with cover on most times ?

This thing works real good!!
The only problem I've had was when you pull the plug from the unit itself, the whole receptacle comes out instead of the plug coming out of the receptacle. So we just stopped removing that end of the cord, and only remove the Male end from the Wall receptacle.
