Got the new smoker seasoned yesterday. So why not get a rib roast on sale and try it out.. Smoker is coming up to temp , so more pics as they happen. Used a mustard binder and Montreal steak seasoning.........

Arount 2 &1/2 hours in...smoking at 325 using post oak...Roast sitting at 99 degrees.

Pulled the roast out at 130 degrees.. Cut the 4 bones off in one piece and threw them back on the smoker..

Nice work! Looks delicious from where I’m sitting!!! I’m sure it was a big hit this Christmas Eve waiting for Santa!
