While traveling recently, I stopped off in Flagstaff and tried Satchmo's, and here's my review:

I was pleasantly surprised that they had a mix of bbq and cajun, so I ordered the pulled pork, pitmaster beans, and a side of chicken and sausage gumbo. They had a limited/simple menu, which I always appreciate.
The gumbo was exactly how I love it, and my favorite part of the meal. Cajun style chicken and sausage, strong roux base, peppery, smoky from the andouille, with some nice, perfectly cooked shrimp placed on top. It was very close to what I make at home, and the only thing that would've made it better for me was a little spoon of potato salad on top.
The pitmaster beans: smoky and peppery and delicious and a little spicy. I could've had these by themselves and been perfectly happy.
The pulled pork: it was good, but a tad salty for me. I wasn't eating it on the provided bread, so maybe it’s not a completely fair take.
I tried the pork with both their sauces. Because the pork was pretty salty, it was better with these sweet sauce IMO.
Atmosphere and service was excellent. I ate outside, and the weather was perfect.
Overall my entire meal was really good, I'd say 4 out of 5 stars and worth the stop. I thought it was a bit pricy, but I'm used to Oklahoma prices, so maybe not. I didn't compare to other restaurants in Flagstaff.
