Picked up a 120 tank today for 50 bucks.  Trying to decided which way to build it.  Reverse flow or not reverse flow. that is the question.  Looking for advice from guys that have actually built reverse flows and use them.  Any advice would be great.  thanks.

I've used both and now wouldn't use anything but a reverse flow

I had had and built both, I like the RF better that is what I use right now.

Your tank will make a great RF or SF.   I wish I could find those for $50.00

This is going to be fun to watch

Has anyone ever built a vertical smoker out of a long skinny tank? Seems like it could work, especially if you could use those Weber round grates.

Ok so I started my smoker. Cutting door out laying out the design. I think I'm going to run a split bottom tray and one big upper tray. Reason is if I run a split lower tray I can pull one out and place side trays on the baffle plate to warm up while I'm out at cook outs away from access to a kitchen. Any thoughts this. I'll upload a pick of my plan when I get home.

I'm so jealous. I've been watching CL for well over a year and can never find anything like that.
