ha-ha Bear - I love this story.  the culprit was caught in the act LOL.  I am like the others...................... will be waiting for your posts!  Josie
Thanks Josie!!

My Son should come up with at least one. If not this one, there are others.

There are at least two 8 pointers & a 3 point, plus a mess of Doe running around here.

Bear, Those are some great pictures! That tree is going to continue to be the "sacrificial anode" I would guess.

I took this picture while on a archery hunt in KS a couple weeks ago. It is actually a fence post, the last one on the fence as it went down into a creek bottom.

I would guess that your tree has a good chance of looking like this someday!

Great pics bear. I can see that those big bucks get big for reason, they know to lay low until dark! If your son bags him, be sure to post some pics!

Here is my tree story. Back when we were living at the lake, I wanted a couple of Cypress trees, So I waited till the lake was down and planted a couple down by my boat house. They were doing good, water came back up, and I couldn't wait tell they took off and started getting big. Every day when I cam home, I would look out the kitchen window to check on my trees. One day, walked in , looked out the window and No Trees !!!  Gone. I thought what the H_ _ _ happened to my trees. First thing I thought was Somebody cut down my trees. So I went down to my Dock to get a closer look. Looked like a pencil , Then it hit me Damn Beaver.

Great Story!!!

I never knew there were Beavers in Texas. I thought they were only in the cold North, like in PA.

I know they can be a PITA !!!
