Hello all..... new to the site and corresponding from the Amazon area of North Brasil. Long story short, I'm interested in bringing a used smoker from the USA to Brasil and beginning a small restaurant/catering business. I realize there are going to be huge differences in any similar business in USA but I'm hoping to get a flavor of what a USA operation would look like (from a numbers/business plan, etc. point of view) so that I would have a reference point for an operation here. I currently operate a couple of businesses here but see a huge opportunity in food service (there are very few options in the part of the country that I'm in.... and people here are crazy for meat and in particular smoked meats....). Anyone who has a USA business similar and is willing to share information would be great!! Maybe even a trip to Brasil someday in the future as exchange might be a possibilty!
