Meowey has a really good start on a rub. Usually, must rubs have equal parts sugar and paprika, with half as much salt. I prefer a sweeter rub for pork, and a saltier rub for beef. However, like Meowey said, find one you like, and tweak it to make it yours. Good luck, and let us know how it comes out.
