Hello again,

So I am replacing the gasket on my vision smoker with nomex.  I just took most of it off with a scraper and tried to get rid of the rest of the adhesive with acetone.   I think the previous owner literally never changed the gasket....  So when I took it off and scrubbed with all my might, there is still black on the trim where the gasket was.  I tried using a sand block and still nothing.

Any suggestions?

Also, is there a certain grade sandblock I should try?

When I did mine I scraped it with a putty knife ,then sanded it with some 80 sand paper ,then cleaned it with some acetone . I think its best to get it as clean as possible.
