rep power

I've read the explaination of what the green dots mean, but that didn't explain what "rep power" is. Can someone enlighten me please?

when someone has helped you, made you laugh, Did something really spectacular, Thank you, pat on the back etc. or what ever reason you choose to give one.people like to know when they are appreciated!

Giving rep power allows the recipient to know that he/or she has done any of these things.

A "That was great advice" or a simple "thank you" Can really make somebody's day


Forget about the green dot's there meaningless!

So Dee is really just a nice person! According the the rep-o-meter! COOL....

I was introduced to that the other day, I didn't know either, but will thank everyone I feel helped with a great or even good advice or if they were simply making me feel good about an opinion.
