The cukes are overrunning the garden. Made a big batch of pickles tonight.

Recently started making pickles and was a bit surprised to see the amount of interest in it from friends and family. My son had a friend stay the night and they cleaned out my initial batch. Made a second batch and sent his friend home with a few jars. Wife got a text saying that they're all enjoying it.

After we picked up a 20lb box of pickling cucumbers, we have requests for some from a friend of my wife since they do a lot of charcuterie.

We plan on bringing a few jars camping with us since our 12 y/o niece loves pickles and bought a jar of pickles at the farmers market for a rather steep price.

Looks great! I'm also a pickle. And other pickled veggie lover. I have a small batch of cukes fermenting now. This weekend we're going to Sauders to get some spices. And hopefully some pickling cukes.

Those look really good Eric! Need to check out David's, DRKsmoking DRKsmoking mustard pickles. Man those are good. My buddy said he chopped some up and added to coleslaw with a little extra sauce he had left over. Going to give that one a try.
