So confession; I still don't have a meat grinder worth a darn. <Also I haven't really seen beef cheap enough to make it worth while to grind my own for sausage making>. That aside..

73 lean ground beef is on sale near me for 1.99 a pound. That isn't a -horrible- price... but would you guys use 73 lean for summer sausage and pepperoni snack sticks?
 
It would work but be a little fatty

I cant remember off hand but I think I usually would buy like three 80/20 then a two 85/15 and It was perfect to my liking
 
Well, I just checked the ads and Piggly Wiggly has 80/20 on sale through the 21st. So I'll likely get ten pounds or more there to turn into some sausage and a bear loaf. Can't really pass up the price, even if I just end up using it for burgers!
