After I got my Trailmaster LE a while back I bought 3 bags of logs from The Wood Shed in Anaheim. Alder, peach and red oak. I've burned through some of the peach, would red oak work for brisket?

yes it will work. Oak doesn't give a strong flavor but its nice and I use it all the time and its a great heat source.

I use it all the time too.

Red oak & hickory is what I use the most.

It's very easy to get around here.
