Does anyone on this site own one of these, they are very interesting to me and seem to operate quite well from some reviews that I have read. If anyone has one could you tell me
how high room you have inside for cooking, the site says that you can do 3 whole chickens or I think they said 3 racks of baby ribs or 45 chicken wings at a time. I am almost ready
to order one but the cooking height kind of scares me as I like to do a double smoke on spiral ham for Thanksgiving and sometimes a turkey breast and I am kind of thinking that
the height isn't enough although I do have a smoker that does do it but I like the fact that this is all stainless steel. From what I see Rectec does not have meat probes, I hear a lot
of good on Rec Tec but no meat probe seems kind of cheap for such a pricey smoker. Any help would be appreciated. I stand to be corrected this does come with a meat probe, and I just got an email it is on the way

I just went ahead and ordered one on sale black Friday $50 off, funny thing once you establish
a desire for something, it is easy to convince yourself that you need it and that is exactly what
I did.

I know exactly what you mean!

yup, know just how that goes.... See now I know the Bullseye is on sale. Im doomed.

I believe Heavy Metal BBQ on YouTube has one. He modified it quite a bit over time, to the point that he was burning sticks on it. Looked pretty impressive.

Web site says Internal head room 7 "
The Grilla Alpha has more headroom but it's more than twice the price. I think the Bullseye can be pretty easily modified though because it has a standard kettle diameter.

That Gorilla Alpha looks pretty sweet!!! But also very spendy.

I have a Bullseye. I have incredibly mixed feelings about it. Right out of the box it runs hot so you'll have to adjust the offset (see the manual for how). That's a piece of cake and it runs great after that.

The downside is that they market it as a grill too and, to me, it just falls flat there. I'd rather use the kettle for that stuff.

But as a smoker it's pretty darn good, no complaints. I've made some really great stuff on there.

I'm just one opinion and their Facebook group is full of Bullseye enthusiasts.
