Its a great site. I just looking for site with other recipes not generally posted here. I was with The Texas recipe club but guy in charge has a big ego. I constantly like trying new things.

All you have to do is post a request for a recipe. . .Not necessarily a smoking one and someone will step up and help you.

I wish sometimes I could go back and delete a post. I was upset about losing a group I really liked other than the moderator, which I do love this site also. The guy in charge is a control freak and constantly kick people out or controlling topics. You cant even post a recipe about chili anymore because of beans. I got kicked out because I add a comment about a oil sprayer I really like in my recipe.

Does he have a bean problem? Seems like you can use beans in chili or not. Some like it. Some don't.
It's all good.
Some folks use rubs on brisket and butts here. Some don't. It's a matter of personal preference, nothing more. It's nice to hear the reasoning, though.
Any questions you ask here will be answered, probably in several different ways, and no one is going to kick you off because you have your own ideas. We kind of like that :-)

Thing is a lot of time I don't know I want to make it until I see piciture of it. Like said there is plenty here to keep busy. I just got to know a lot of people there also. Like losing friends. Hurts. The reason he wont allow chili is because some people say no beans. He has to approve every post which he did approve mine than week later removed me without a word. Anyhow I will leave it lie here. Should have never posted this. Bad me.
