I am in real estate and I see this sort of thing now and then BUT it usually is deliberate. It is real easy to read "vegan complaining" but my takeaway is a$$hole neighbor.

Kimchi LOL. Chicken coop?

‘Devastated’ Vegan!
Say no more! Those Aussie blokes were just trying to help keep her Garden "Animal and Bug free" by smoking those pesky cows, and mosquitoes don't like cigarette smoke.

LOL, I have a super special neighbor that we share a fence with, and every time I fire up the smoker, I anxiously wait for the fire department to show up. She's told me not to use the smoker or BBQ because it wafts into her kids bedrooms, and if I don't stop cooking, she'll call 911 on me.

I politely told her to close her windows, then went and fired up the smoker for dinner.

And unfortunately for her, I can't move my smoker anywhere else or further away from the house/fence. My backyard is only 20'x20' as it is!

I thought that could only happen in Kalifornia! I live here but some how have managed to say below the radar so far.

I'm so happy I don't have any neighbors, some people have way to much time on their hands, to bad there isn't any laws for being an as%^&le, they should lock her and her lawyer up for wasting the courts time, but i'm sure over time they will win their case. This world is gone!!

I only have one neighbor close enough to get a whiff of my Smoker, if the wind is just right, and that happens to be Bear Jr, at about 1/4 Mile---East of my house.
And he might not smell mine, if he has his Big Green Egg going at the same time.

Bear

First they took away guns in Australia, now it's going to be their barbies(grills). You hide and watch! HA!

Perhaps she's right. I think growing a vegetable garden would be a great idea for next year. First, however, we would need a huge compost pile to get our 100% organic all natural fertilizer started. Cows eat grass and produce manure. I'm sure that would be respected, and appriciated. Sheep shix is great for roses, and fish oil for the flower garden. Especially as close to the property line as possible. It would need to be watered every day to promote decomposition. But, it would be worth the effort, I'm sure. =)

I am quite considerate to my Neighbors when smoking and also when I have Fires in the backyard, no complaints yet.

I look at it "Would my wife like her washing smelling like BBQ or the house being inundated with smoke while the kids are inside by our neighbor, No she wouldnt".

I put the smoker in a place where the wind doesnt blow it direct into my Neighbours homes, even with a small backyard this makes a big difference. I also have made a Patio with a big 6" chimney vent going about 8 Foot up in the air to draw the smoke high and hopefully out of the way.

I'm very fortunate that my neighbors for the most part mind their own business. And don't P&M over stupid things. Most of us grill, a couple of us smoke. We play loud music on occasion. But keep it down after 9pm. With 2 exceptions. We've all been on this street for 30 plus years. Which helps.
