Got a newer food saver with instant seal. When the air gets sucked out and the juices start working thier way to the opening, I hit the seal button. The vacuum stops instantly and the sealing strip heats up, keeping all the juicy goodness inside!
I know someone else in the forum does, that's where I got the idea!
