I live in Connecticut. I have done some Internet searches looking for wood suppliers. I even looked on Craigslist. How did everyone find their wood suppliers?
I have been using a Weber with charcoal and wood chips, hickory and some mesquite, but I am shopping for a smoker (leaning towards the Lang 36).
What woods do you like to pair with meats?
On some of the threads I have seen that some people use one wood for the majority of their burn, then switch to another. I have done this with mesquite. Does anyone use this technique? If so, what woods do you use and what meats are you doing with that?
