Question

I have a question. I have resently acquired a surplus of mahogany from a cabinet maker I was wondering if I could use the wood for smoking not for smoke flavor but mostly for heat purposes I would mix some fruit wood with any suggestions would be appreciated.

Soft woods dont work well. Go for hardwood.

However, if he has any untreated hickory...go for it!
