Hey Y'all

Just a newbie with another dumb question...So, let's say I have a piece of meat that takes X-hours per pound for a total of 6 hours.  If I put three more pieces the same approximate weight in the smoker, it would still take the same 6 hours for all four pieces, yes?  I mean, it's not additive, correct...the time would only go up if the weight of each piece was greater, yes?  Just checking.

On average you can calculate your time based on the largest piece. Always add a 2 hour CYA Pad/Rest. Crazy stuff happens, so go by Temp for your finished product. Have seen Big Butts go fast and 5-6 pounder's take take 15 hours...JJ
