I have a cold smoking coil you use sawdust in and was wondering. I already have a warming cabinet for resting the meats I cook. If I got some metal rods and cut them to length does anyone know if I could use this to cold smoke in without damaging the warming cabinet? this would be an easy solution and I do make alot of sausages and hot dogs. Of course, I would put a big pan in the bottom of the warming cabinet to set the smoking coil in so no ash would get in it, and have the warming cabinet off. Thanks for the help.
