I thought I should post a few pictures of my 500 gallon reverse flow smoker I recently finished building. I have a few cooks under my belt with thing now and I couldn't be happier! I love cooking on this thing it works perfectly and using a stick burner over my propane setup makes such better food it is not even in the same league.
Here is the completed smoker before I moved it into the barn
My first smoke was 2 huge Briskets and about 50lbs of pulled pork! I didn't get much of a Q view because I was worried about opening the doors to take pictures. Here are the Briskets
Next smoke was some wicked beans and ribs and hot wing style chicken
I made some ABT's the same day as well
Gotta love having room for a lot of food!
Chicken and ABT's ready to come out.
I am loving cooking on this stick burner! Everyone asks me if I wish it was not so big and to be honest it is just as easy to cook a couple chicken breasts on it as it is to use my Webber and much better flavor it only takes about 1/2 hour to get up to temp and I can cook 2lbs or 200lbs and it is fun to use.
