Hello everyone, and thanks in advance for your help...

Gonna bite the bullet and build a UDS.  I priced valves and am wondering if I can get away with using PVC valves on my intakes as opposed to brass ones?  If I make the nipples 4 - 6 inches long, do you think the heat will STILL destroy the valves?  Either that or I can put in a shorter nipple, 90 straight up, put a 12" nipple, and stick my valves on the end of that?  IDK....

I'm considering 3 1" valves spaced 120 degrees apart (for air intake) and one 1 1/4" nipple/(brass) valve assembly at the top for an exhaust.  Just so happened to have a 1 1/4" valve & nipple "laying around".  Any comment about the PVC valves and my airflow "proposals" would be appreciated.  Thanks!

The PVC will work fine.
That what i used. Save me around $8 going that way.
