Just wanted to ask maybe a silly question...

I am preparing to make some venison /pork summer sausage...

I saw at the store pre seasoned ground pork sausage..noted as hot on the package. I like hot, med, and sweet pork sausage.

Can this pre seasoned sausage work instead of having to shred up a pork roast?

I just thought this might save time?

Thank you!

Look at the label and see if it has a solution of salt/vinegar. Wally is carrying some ground poke like this.

OMG I was just about to ask someone if they ever did a Kalua pork or "pulled pork" snack stick or sausage. We always have Kalua pork in our freezer, especially during summer time when there is all the graduation parties. I'll try to make some soon. I was basically looking for a Kalua pig snack stick. Hmmm next mission.....

PP SS Turned out better than i thought.
SS taste with a deep smoky flavor.

Casing did not stick which is good.

I think mixing the PP in is worth a 5lb batch. Not bad for hand stuffing.....EH

Took some to my wife n the office. She said i dont taste any PP but i do the smoke, Well maybe more next time

Looks good.
What recipe would you recommend for a 5lb batch?
I would like to try making some.
Thank you.

You could use just about any SS mix, just cut in the right amount of PP.

Like for a 5lb batch cut the ground meat to 4lbs and cut in 1lb of PP
