Hey all, it's a blistering 27* outside and it's snowing...I figured "what a great day for some green chili!" So I made a green chili base of...well, green chiles, onion, potatoes and seasoning (normally I add tomatillos, but figured the sauce I doused on the PP will add the acidity?) . Let it simmer in the crock-pot (CP) for about 2 hours, used my emulsion blender before cutting up about 2lbs of pulled pork that I smoked last weekend. It's all in the CP and should be ready by 5:00pm...

Two of my favorite things...pulled pork and green chili!:drool

Enjoy!

I like making mine New Mexico style - it's almost more of a soup with potato's in it, and if you can find Hatch chili's in your area it's amazing!

I never had green chili before. But, this looks so good, I think I'm gonna have to try a big pot of this sometime. Great Job!
