BBQ was on Saturday bought the meat on Thursday and prepped them that day 4 7lb butts
Got them all covered with mustard
Time for some "Jeff's Naked Rib Rub"
Wrapped them up super tight till Saturday
Saturday morning 2:30am I get up move the smoker outside, It's a small cuisinart electric I keep it inside as I have no cover for it right now, and probably won't since I want a traeger next I think... Anyway back to the smoking, everything is preheated and ready by 3:30am
Here they are all unwrapped and ready to go in
I put them in and fiddled with the temp to keep it between 240-255
2-3 hours in first and only time I opened her up to get probe in IT is about 142
Just about time to foil!!!
Here's the smoker
End result was amazing the meat just fell apart when I put in the tray I used the bone to help shred not that it needed as it literally just did the work itself..Finished with SoFlaQuer's sauce
This is just one, I would have more pics but when people saw the PP in the tray they started chanting and things moved in a flurry from there so no more pics!
Yup It was a hit everyone talked about it all night, heck I'm still getting texts and Facebook messages on how it was the best they've ever had.
Thanks for all the tips and posts I've read folks they helped me a lot. Gonna keep reading and smoking...Next up is the brisket I have in my freezer my first one failed this one I know will be a success with all the reading I've done here
Cheers,
Kevin
