Hey folks

do you owners, of the propane vertical smokers, ???????????

when do you open the vents? I have one slider on the back at the top

one on each side............... at the bottom................... of the fire chamber.

I think its a master 40" verticle with 4 shlves

speak now............I have the babys on there as I type..........

Full open on the exhaust, if not you could creosote up your meat.

Mine doesn't have intakes, just sucks air up thru the bottom around the burner.

ok amigo!!  thanks for  the advice. I notice yer quote suggesting people DONT MOVE TO AUSTIN!!!

that's what we used to suggest to anyone not born ,  in  Colorado.............hahahahahahahaha.......

(it didn't work) Its ok I moved out...........to Montana.............

I have the MB - Dual Fuel Vertical, and I run it this way..... the top... wide open for exhaust....the bottom right anywhere from 1/2 to 1/4 open (with a few times full open) depending on the wind which seems to come from the right side of the smoker to the left all the time.  The bottom left I have closed for every smoke....as I said the wind seems right to left at my house.

By the Way...  how did the Baby Backs come out???? Grin !!
