Propane smoker help

Hi everybody.

Hoping to get some info on a new smoker. I'm looking to purchase a propane smoker with a budget of roughly $250. I own a charcoal off set and wanted something that I can have my wife operate as well. She loves ribs and when I mentioned we could get smoked ribs without having to baby sit the smoker for 6 hours, I had her attention. I see a lot of people recommending the MES 30/40 but wanted to see what others thought. I appreciate any feedback!

The electric smokers with an AMNPS smoke generator, make a pretty good combination for a set and forget smoker.... Most propane smokers cook too hot and need modifications to the propane supply... also they need mods to get more air flow through the smoker...
