hows it going guy my name is mike and as the title says I am a super noob when it comes to smoking meats. I am 25 years old father of 1 almost 2 daughters and happily marred to my high school sweet heart. also I am a member of the united states Air Force as a Aircraft Hydraulic system technician. but on to grilling history My first real grill was a wedding present and this last couple months it has been kinda dieing on me. I have always wanted a smoker so I figured it was time.... I did some research and found a Ugly Drum Smoker and I thought that would work out pretty good for starting out. so I made one and here are the results.

and here are some pics of the first pork loin

I loved it... the smoke ring might be a little much but it was a first time using the smoker and I half expected to mess it up. but I look forward to more smokes and all the knowledge i can get from the smoking meat forums.

Thanks

Welcome !! The best part of making mistakes is you get to eat them. They usually aren't so bad you can't eat em. At least I haven't had one that bad. Yet lol.

to SMF - glad to have you here

If you use the button just to the left of the filmstrip you can load your pictures right from your PC and not have to use photobucket. Just know that until you get up to about 20 posts or so the pictures and the post will get held for moderator approval. This is done automatically by the forum software to try and keep spammers out. Normally pictures are released within a couple of hours as we try to check our sections fairly often during the day
