Hunter have you ever ate at Coopers in Austin? I went there last month and it was dam good.
I have not tried Coopers... but there are a LOT of good cue joints in Austin. Bad Austin Cue is better than most BBQ in the rest of the country IMHO. Different places there have their specialties though for certain. There is one place to go to for brisket, another ribs, another beef ribs, etc. Next time... do yourself a flavor and try out Louis Mueller BBQ just outside of Austin. Best beef ribs I've had at a restaurant. Beef ribs take brisket up to another level.

Coopers in Llano is definitely a go to, as well as Wayne's joint Louie Mueller BBQ in Taylor. Good friends and great BBQ.

Hey ya'll - I'll be in Austin between Christmas and New Years, visiting with friends in the BBQ biz and generally causing havoc. If anyone wants to meet up let me know. ~Jeff
