Prime NY Strips

[Texas Cookin']

Cooked a few prime NY strips that I found at Sam’s. My wife wants hers more well done so I butterflied hers out. Seasoned with Kosher salt, garlic, pepper.

Wanted some shrimp so I threw these in a marinade of evoo, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, salt and pepper.

Wife put together this casserole with hash browns, sour cream, bacon bits etc.. pretty dang good. Here it is in the oven.

Final shot. Simple steak, shrimp, taters! Have a good night everyone.

Thanks Steve! This marinade is good for shrimp. If you want to take it up a notch add a can of chipotle peppers with adobo sauce!
