The wife and kids left with FIL to the big city for a stadium game tonight. Leaving me unsupervised. Feeling a bit primal and maybe even a bit savage. Just having a good time of it smoking meat and enjoying the quiet. May not be politically correct but it’s honest.

Not sure how the night will end, but kicking it off with some Tequila lime shrimp.

And here I was expecting tequila in a glass and shrimp cocktail on the table.

Ended up digging in the fridge and just did nachos. Homemade beans, taco meat, roasted green Chile, some of that good gourmet canned cheese and topped with chopped Serrano Chile and avocado with fresh made salsa Roja. Lime squeeze over all and then the shrimps. I’m a King tonight.

And on the china that goes in the burn barrel to dispose of all evidence that you had a great meal while they dine on stadium food.

Sounds real nice. When my wife and I had jobs, she traveled for work a fair amount. I did kinda like having a couple days with myself. Make a bloody steak and wash it down with too much beer/whiskey. Enjoy!
