Prices of gas smokers

I was wondering, Filling up a propane tank isnt exactly the cheapest thing i have bought. How many hours of smoke have yall gotten out of a full tank? Do yall think its worth it? charcoal adds up as well, but i figure a gasser would be a little easier to regulate temperatures on. Any ideas?

i can get 10 - 12 hr from a tank

I get about 38 - 40 hours per 20 lb tanks.

About the same here. Cost about 14.00 to fill it up.

The gas isn't bad here only about $16 but the tanks are $40 to $50

I can get 4 or five good smokes out of a 20 pound tank. I'va also found that they are cheaper to fill if you go to a propane place instead of exchanging them at Lowes, or Home Depot.
