I saw these at the grocery and had not ever seen them before sooooo.....

Rubbed them with a little EVOO and wrapped them up in bacon, seasoned with some lemon pepper and into the smoker they went.

Plated up with some homemade cornbread and some fried tators.... a dab of raspberry chipotle sauce.... pretty dang good. I have to say it wasn't my favorite... a little bland. The sauce made the difference for me. I think if I were going to do these again I would experiment with injecting them with some flavor of some sort.. yoshidas, or apple juice... or something just to flavor it up.

Thanks for checkin out my QVIEW.

Looks like loin, I have smoked these before and they are a little bland, even with a good rub. Nice qview and they look great.

I love those things, I like to put cut up garlic cloves into them and cover the top with rosmary and pepper. I never tried the bacon wrap. that looks delicious.

Looking good Dave.
