"Morning everyone, The local supermarket has Pork Picnic Roasts on sale for $1.00 a pound. I've only used Pork Butt for sausage before and was wondering how the Picnic Roasts work out. Thanks in advance.

Bob, morning...  If you feel you need more fat in the sausage, and the market doesn't carry it, I have used a pkg of Bacon ends and pieces....

I look for a fatty pkg and separate the fat from the lean....  The lean gets saved for beans etc....   Dave
