I am sure that lots of you have already seen this but I just ran across it today and thought it might be a good thing to post for us newbies

Here is a site that totally breaks down pork butt / shoulder / picnic and explains the cut in detail with pictures. It also addresses every aspect of the preperation and cooking in fairly clear and openminded manner.
