A buddy called me out of nowhere and told me he has a WSM for sale, got it for 100$ I just couldn’t pass that up. It was god sent. I did a run just lump charcoal and hickory with no meat on it do get rid of the new smell. Baptised it with ribs last week and 9lbs pork shoulder this weekend. It took about 15-16 hours to get it up to 200 degrees. Not sure if its usually this long maybe I missed something lol.

I was flying blind as I do not have a thermometer and I read you cant trust the Webber top dial. I'll be looking into getting a ET-732/733 soon enough
