Poor man's Vortex - Ribeyes

Any tips on best way to cut out the bottom?
It'd look like a beaver knawed it out, but I'll probably try a angle grinder.
Angle grinder, I would cut as a hexagon for simplistic reasons then grind (flap wheel) it round after that. Or drill a hole and gig saw it (cut is a bit short), then finish up with the angle grinder/flap wheel.

Fast forward a few years and I got yankee for a Christmas Exchange and I made this for him out of scrap SS sheet I had..... Angle grinder and flap wheel.
