Polish salami

Trying out the Sausage makers Polish salami kit. Made 5 pounds. Tomorrow I'll be finishing them. They smell good already! Straight forward mix. Stuffed by hand.

I usually do with larger casings. Less to clean up.

That came out pretty good for doing it by hand . I tried it once . For about 30 seconds . Then got the stuffer out .

Steve, this is exactly what I thought while looking at your pic! Interesting and very unusual color for sausage... Waiting for a sliced pick and a taste test. Intrigued...

They do have a red tint. But, I think the flash on my camera caused that. I'll take another tonight with the money shot.

That's because Steve sliced it ultra thin - transparent.
