I wouldn't line with wood. If you want insulation add it to the exterior maybe.

Sounds good but I'd keep it away from your shed.
A member made a whole smoker out of this stuff doubled to make it 1" thick not long ago.Just a single ply inside the box should have real good heat retention.They have it in 5/8" too.
